"I can honestly say driving was not something I ever enjoyed or particularly wanted to do. Although I had tried to learn numerous times over the years, I had never found a suitable instructor or a learning method that worked for me. When the time came, for family reasons, that I had to be able to drive, I knew I had to find an instructor who not only had a track record of teaching those who, for whatever reason, considered themselves unteachable, but an instructor who also had the patience for students like myself, who didn't particularly like the idea of driving. I'm happy to say Peter was that instructor. He was aware of my dislike for driving, my lack of experience and my previous, unsuccessful attempts to learn. It was clear from the first lesson that he took all of that into careful consideration and then worked with me until I gained my confidence to drive and, eventually, learned to enjoy it. He was always extremely helpful, consistently patient and dedicated. He kept instruction simple and straightforward, didn't try to rush me before I was ready, and continued to build my confidence with encouragement, reassurance and positive feedback. More importantly, he didn't give up on seeing it through until I passed my test and obtained my licence. Thanks to Peter, I can now say I am a confident, comptent and, more importantly, qualified driver. Peter pays attention, identifies where you need more work, and doesn't let up until he's certain you've got the ability you need to drive. But he does all of this with care, thoughtfulness, diligence and, again, a lot of patience. "Peter is an excellent instructor. His instruction is clear and delivered calmly and patiently, making it easy to stay calm and make good progress. At the beginning of the lessons the route and goals were clearly explained, tailored to continue the progress made in the previous lesson. His knowledge of the area is excellent, and proactive tips on certain areas and situations help enormously when driving them for the first time. I felt comfortable asking questions on anything I was unsure about. It also goes without saying that Peter is always on time, communicative and the car is immaculately kept. And when it came to re-booking my test, he was incredibly dedicated, securing me a cancellation much sooner than the allocated test.
